When your child applies for admission to Navy Hale Keiki School (NHKS), you connect to a very special community. NHKS is a place where patriotism, values, creativity, physical education, art, and hands-on-classroom instruction are the building blocks for your child’s mind, body, and spirit.
NHKS children join an educational community dedicated to military dependents and local children in the community we live and play. Each day, instruction begins with the Pledge of Allegiance and cheerful chorus of the National Anthem.
Children progress through a collaborative educational program. Teachers, preschool through fourth grade, work to create a seamless curriculum program incorporating math, science, spelling, and language with upward spiraling advancement through each grade. High SAT scores attest to the school's rigorous curriculum and devoted teachers.
Mindful of time demands on military and working families, NHKS offers robust before and after school care with independently contracted enrichment programs in language, swimming, science, dance, and golf. NHKS also offers care during vacation seasons for families that have dual working parents, or just need the additional support, please see our Interim Care page.
We realize a private education at Navy Hale Keiki School is an investment (not just of money but also of time, energy, and caring). Through the generosity of grants and our own parents, we do everything we can to help make a NHKS education accessible and affordable. Parents can apply and receive need-based financial aid after the financial aid application process.
In efforts to save time and money, NHKS also offers an online payment option through FACTS. Please click here to set up and/or update your secure personal FACTS Automatic Tuition Payment Program.
NHKS maintains long wait lists and strives to admit as many students as possible.
