Navy Hale Keiki (House of Children) School was organized and established in 1946 as a nonprofit organization. Over the years, it has served the
military community as a nursery school, preschool and, since 1967, an early childhood program for students three years old in preschool and continuing
on through Grade Three.
The school operates through a Use Agreement with the United States Navy, Pearl Harbor, and is governed by a Board of Governors. The Board of Governors is
comprised of parents of currently enrolled children and three Community Advisors. The day to day operation of the school is the primary
responsibility of the Director.
Navy Hale Keiki School is accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC), the Hawaii Association of Independent Schools (HAIS) and
is licensed by the Hawaii Council of Private Schools, State of Hawaii.
